I thought Chris Landry would be GM of the Eagles by now.

Why is he reduced to doing podcasts?

I'm confused. "Aranda wants the NFL".
"Aranda doesn't wanna be a HC"
"Aranda thinks he can get the HC job".

Does he want to be the LSU HC or not?
Also, would we be facing another Saban scenario in relation to tenure?
Aranda- the young genius savant waiting to bolt for that "dream" NFL job and leaving lsu the spurned lover again?

Why? Orgeron isn’t some charity case or an amateur athlete. He is paid more money than any “state employee”.

This rah rah, “I support coach no matter what” bullshite is just laughable. His first year was below average and his decisions as “CEO” of the program have been criticized by everyone except his staunch supporters.

Weren't we in serious title contention in 2012 when a one loss fifth ranked LSU team blew a fourth quarter lead versus number one Bama in Tiger Stadium?

IMHO, that loss started our decline.

Armanda being on the level for Packers D.C. job is a positive...Raymond jumping shop isn't a negative either ...must assistants come and go at all schools...Right now with the start of pre season weigh lifting and conditioning drills is when champions are made..We have enough talent to make a run...all up to the players to want it...then go get it now

Why? Is this not a message board to discuss LSU football? I’m of the opinion that Orgeron is not a good coach and LSU will continue to slide under his leadership. His track record and the PR nightmares that continue to plague him support this. Feel free to rebut with your opinion and any supporting facts.

I don’t “hate” O. Never met the guy. But he’s paid extremely well to, in part, represent and be an ambassador of my alma mater. To date, he’s done a shitty job. At $3.5 million per year, I expect more out of the LSU head coach than an endless string of “yes men” hires, and being so petty and thin skinned that he blocks people on Twitter.

Sorry. O’s purple and gold polo doesn’t make him immune from pointed criticism.

How in the hell did Chris Landry get access to such such an informed source here?

O has made a ton of mistakes but he also has done a good job of restocking the front 7 on D and helping rebuild the OL.

Definitely needs a good year with a difficult schedule and also showed an improved offense. If LSU does that then I think he will have the momentum to get LSU back in the elite conversation.

I don’t think people realize how quickly Miles was running the program into the ground.

Agreed with everything he stated. And I am in the know on many LSU topics.

Chris Landry reads Tigerdroppings and gets all the info he needs for his podcasts. There was nothing in there that you couldn't see here already.

I swear you people seem be rooting for this thing to implode just bc you don't like the hire.

No one would ever admit it but there's a lot of truth in this statement. I didn't like the O hire and still am not sold on him as a HC, but I still don't try to find and create reasons to talk shite about him like this board does daily

I agree. But I will say I support him because I support LSU. But at the same time I am not going to sugar coat anything and still think it was a bad hire. if he does something good I will give him credit. But when he screws up I am going to point that out also.

Right. But the point is we had the roster to make a serious run.

That could not be said of the 2013-2017 teams IMO

Ceiling for 2018 is probably 10-2. IF (huge emphasis on the If dumbasses) they can go 9-3 or better and land a top 2019 class then they would at least have the roster capable of a title run.
