"I'm excited to play with a great offense."

Alleva's mention in the article looks awful

This is germans as hell.

And it is not a shot at LSU whatsoever.

Some people are flat out idiotic.

When anyone goes to a new program they compliment that program. A&M is known for offense, he is giving them a compliment of what they are known for. It has jack shite to do with LSU.

Chavis had a GREAT offense just last season, and his defense shite the bed.

To be expected. He has to recruit against LSU now, be sure their will be ammo from both sides.

It would be good if we get this info posted 10 or 20 more times. It seems to help improve our offensive performance.

I don't see that it's definitely a rip. If you talk about TX A&M, you're going to talk about their offense. He's going to say all the right things over there just like he did when he took the job here. He's saying the things their fan base wants to hear. Everyone was creaming in their pants when he took the LSU job and talked about how great the talent was and how it was the best talent he had ever been around. I'm sure the Tennessee fans felt slighted but that's the way coaches do it.

This has been all over the place, but, f*ck Chavis - we had a great offense in 2013.

If his defense wouldn't just give up drives at the end of halves/games, we would be 3 or 4 wins better (at least) over the past 3 seasons - more than 1 over Bama - period.

Why shouldn't he be glad to play for a team that has an Offense ? At LSU the Defense stay's on the field and finishes Number 1 in the SEC and yet still get the blame for any let downs FROM the PUMPERS. With any offense LSU's defense would have been even better

Is this myth still around? Our TOP was very good this year. The defense was not on the field all the time, aside from Auburn, Miss St, and ND (but that was not the fault of the offense- the defense let up huge drives early and often in those games).
