Heard some bigwigs in my lounge say this at A&M.....
What if I told you that LSU paid more in attorney fees 650k than Chavis said we owed him 600k...
Prepare for the expose' on LSU budget issues.
ETA: they did bring up the 90s...because what else can they talk about right now.

I would say that is a very common occurrence.
ETA: and I've actually done that before in a smaller lawsuit, I would rather give it to the attorney than the arse that was trying to say I owed him money

At least LSU will get some of that back through donations and TAF fees from the attorneys. I would rather give the money to supporters of the program than those who are trying to subvert it.
