This was a good piece about Chavis's relationship towards LSU. No doubt fans and outsiders will paint it as adversarial, but likely it's not. Miles and Chavis are both good guys. If LSU can get out of paying Chavis for the time it owes him, so be it.

Noted. Now he needs to cough up the 400k plus cost and reasonable attorneys fees.

The true premise of your thread. Sloppy work.

Edit - I was wrong. Fine job indeed.

frick Chavis. He clearly wasn't all there at the bowl game and started recruiting for the Aggies before his 400k would have been due. He can go frick himself.

Chavis wouldn't have shat the bed against ND if that were the case.

Chavis was a great coach at LSU for a while despite how frustrating it was to watch our 2min defense the last two years. It'll take him a few years of recruiting most likely before he's able to really turn around aTm's defense but he will do fine there. He was one of the few coordinators that could scheme well enough to stop the aggies offense (with the help of some kick a** players). All the best to him.

This is a pissing match that is embarrassing for both sides. I hope they just settle and shut up about it soon.

No doubt. Using his talent, Chavis was the only DC to slow up JFF. It was impressive.

So you would rather LSU drop the suit and set the precedent that coaches can violate their contracts without recourse?

ETA: And frick that fatass piece of shite.

Using who's talent? You think Chavis actually recruited while he was here?

Thankfully, Chavis has had trouble stopping the traditional pro-style attack CLM runs. Don't see that changing
