The roommate was implicated in the fight, NOT a captain. My take...Landry is roommies with RR and J LEE or Taylor stood up and got people focused.

He means he got his info from one of those 4. And he's giving JLee credit for getting the team focused.

I don't think the roommate is who showed the leadership.

What are you talking about? Who said any of those were RR's roommate? DMitch said SOMEONE spoke up and was ultimately named captain ... didn't say that was RR's roommate.

was this Lee?

Somewhere last week the light went off. someone stood up and said let's block all of it out, this is what we have been working our tails off for. at that very moment, 90 young men listened and got focused.

that young man got voted a captain for the game.

All the talk about the QB.

I don't think OU will be able to stop Ware and Ford.

It would be nice to have a leader on the offense for a change.

It's difficult to lead when you are buried on the bench and only brought in to bail the team's arse out when the chips are down. He showed more leadership as a RS-Fr when he stepped up time after time in the locker room after tough outings and took his lumps like a man, even as the coaching staff was throwing him under the bus. He showed leadership by sticking around and working hard, even when his superior performance on the field was not rewarded with additional playing time. He has been nothing but class, and this would be the "feel-good" story of the year if everything clicks, and he pulls his game together. His ability to lead is the least of my worries...

Yeah ... those are the 4 captains aren't they? I was asking which one was his roommate as I'd never heard those names involved.
