Now if only the Chargers would bring JJ in as the third QB on their roster...

The meltdown on here would be legendary

. I still don't understand why such a big deal was made about this. But this is the rant after all.

Not a big deal to me. The Jersey tug is how I knew it was Lee because I couldn't see the name on the jersey. His mechanics were also very different. But again, no defense to really test him.

No way Lee ends up as the #2 going into the season. Chargers won't go with a guy who didn't play a ton and wasn't great in college.

that's what the link story says.

It also says, this is not a guy ready to step in.

Probably true. Saw JJ at the bus station buying a ticket to San Diego

I can't believe JJ won't just try and play receiver? Teams would give him a shot.

No. They wouldn't.

Easily one of the biggest fallacies about JJ while at LSU was that he was a "runner". He was ONLY a "runner" if you compared him to the alternative. Mauck and Flynn were both 10 times the runner JJ ever was.

The kid really was not all that athletic and had the vision of a rhino. I swear, I used to think he ran TO the tacklers.

THOSE are not traits that make for a good receiver.

Stop talking about JJ.......It's all about Jarrett Lee, a proven QB who had one bad game in a near perfect season, JJ could never amount to Jarrett Lee and will never
I quote, Jarrett Lee will be a NFL Starting QB like Matt Flynn before him

I think it would be awesome... Kind of felt sorry for both of these guys, wish both could latch on somewhere to make up for their college careers.

QBs in the pros are protected more than those in college, so Lee may do well..

I'm guessing you don't know much about football then, considering he led the SEC in passer efficiency rankings for a while, and had a stretch of 200ish passes without an interception, not to mention his TD to INT ratio.

I don't think Charger fans have total confidence that Norv Turner is the man for the head coaching job.
