If they all win out, Oregon will likely moved to #1, which would give the Rose the first pick.

is by default of the BCS or this assuming the voters jump Kansas State(keep in mind they are still undefeated)?

I guess my question is, is there anyway both Oregon and Kansas State go undefeated with Kansas State staying at the # 1 slot?

The ND-Oregon title game is the most likely Rose Bowl scenario. Just to think it out, assuming Florida loses (which is the only way we can go to the BCS as an at large team), the Rose Bowl gets first pick to replace Oregon. In that scenario, there will be no Pac-12 team likely to be eligible (USC, Stanford, and Oregon St. will all have at least 3 losses and ranked outside the top 16). So, the Rose Bowl gets to pick anybody. There is really no at large team as appealing as LSU once Notre Dame is off the board, and I don't believe the Rose Bowl is going to stoop to select a "one year wonder" like A&M. That's a very un-Rose Bowl thing to do.

Though we could make the Rose Bowl if Oregon-KSU make the title game and Notre Dame loses by 30 points to USC. In this scenario, LSU will move up into the top 4 (likely to be Oregon, KSU, Bama/UGA winner, LSU) and have the auto bid. The Rose Bowl, selecting first, can either take a Notre Dame team coming off a blowout loss or take a top 4 team with one of the best track records of success in the last decade. It's not a slam dunk, but I think the Rose Bowl would consider taking LSU in that scenario as well.

I agree. I think the Fiesta Bowl would likely take A&M over LSU, but not the Rose. The only other thing I'd be worried about is UGA beating Bama in the SECCG, and the Rose having to pick between LSU and Bama with 10-2 records. I don't think they'd take Bama coming off a loss, but they could. So, I'm pulling for FSU to beat Fla, K-state to lose, and Bama to win the SECCG. In that scenario, I think LSU would be Pasadena bound.
