Off the field issues. Don't think they wanted to deal with that and they probably thought Harris would improve.

These types are slippery slopes. Ole Miss is trying to keep up and they have to take players like this to do so. It is what it is. Sometimes it all works out, See Jeremy Hill, sometimes its the beginning of the end. Urban Meyer trying to keep up found himself in this position where the players were telling the coaches to shut the f up. Meyer then found himself covering up stuff from the media and realized he was in too deep and had no way out except lose games or begin suspending his best players. Either way his career takes a giant hit. Jim Tressel comes to mind. You can only have a few of the Kelly types and this holds true even in the NFL. Whoever came up with the retiring disease should get several million from urban, it saved his A. What a liar and a quitter. But now, hes considered the best at the profession. SMH.
I will say this about Kelly, he lit the gumps up.That was a helluva performance. But to ever question, LSU's recruiting prowess or their personnel decision making is a futile exercise. They are as good as anyone.

Wasn't he arrested a little while after committing to Ole Miss? I think the guy is good, for that system, but he would not be ready to play at LSU this year. He has never played under center to my knowledge.

Jennings went back to get things that were stolen from him.
This shite isn't even close to Kelly. Kelly was kicked out of a high school, kicked out of Clemson (for fighting with coaches), and fought bouncers at the club a couple weeks after signing to Ole Miss, talking about shooting shite up.
