Looking back on his recruitment I remember coach Cam had him come in and throw for us. He ultimately decided not to offer him, however the coaches knew he would be going to Ole Miss if not LSU. I firmly believe he would have picked LSU over Ole Miss. Why not sign him specifically so that Ole Miss doesn't get him? Ole Miss would not be near as good with Buchanan as their starting QB. It could end up hurting us

I assume you mean after he went to Clemson and then got kicked off the team by Yabo Dabo Doo.

There's a reason he had to go the juco route and those issues could pop up again. He's a great quarterback though.
