wasn't it Chad that blasted the AR receiver just outside the EZ and got called for helmet to helmet, even though it wasn't? one of the best hits ever.... one of many good memories of 'the dreadlocks of doom.' wish him the very best!

Yeah, Arky '09. Joe Adams is still trying to cough up his mouthpiece.

I was sitting in that endzone when it happened on the first row,one of the hardest hits I've seen live and that close. Joe Adam's eyebrows were yellow from the endzone paint, my Arkansas friend sitting beside me thought Adams was dead.

Man, I would LOVE to see Chad pitching again! Remember, Milwaukee selected him with their last pick in the baseball draft a few years ago.

Me too. A lefty throwing 90+ probably has a better chance of making it than a Safety that has a hitch in his giddyup. Either way though, it is his decision and I wish him nothing but the best.

Man, I was at that game too and when he popped Adams, and I generally try not to swear when I'm at games because of families with little kids there, but I couldn't help it when he popped Adams. I let out the loudest "Holy S**t!" I remember Chad crawling around on his hands and knees afterwards, and Adams' helmet went flying. One of the hardest hits I've ever seen.

Rahim Alem was one of the first players to come to see if CJ was ok, I thought that was cool. His brother was one of the first ones to get to him.

I have a ton, TON of respect for Mr. Chad Jones.

Although I can't help but to refer to him as the "Dreadlocks of Doom" occasionally!

I was at that game too. HUGE HIT! with a total BS call from the officials.

Are you sure Rahim Alem came to check on him? I thought Alem graduated in 2008 for some reason.

I have a hard time imagining Keke in a 4-3 defense. I could be wrong, though.

I'm sure of it. I think that was Alem's last season.

But talk about a hit.

He is not undersized for a college 4-3; however, we will be undersized in the pros in a 4-3. At least that is the perception of most NFL scouts.

Saints season is OVER

It would be a FANTASTIC TRIBUTE to Chad Jones, a NOLA native, to let him suit up for the black and gold.

Hell with the way our defense is, he may lock up a spot in the secondary

Would be great publicity for the Saints who are is need of some

he probably can't pass a physical right now. They could probably sign him and put him on the IR if they want him for next season
