if we lose 4 games that puts us at 8 wins, not 9. i never said LSU will be a really good team, they have have a chance to be but i never said they would be. like i said before, if the offensive line plays well, we win 10+ games imo. if they play like they did last year, we likely go 7-5. i didn't see enough improvement from game 1 to game 13 to make me belive the problem will be fixed. there are a few young guy's like longergan, and hurst that have a chance to be an upgrade from last year, but it's still an unknown right now. that's why i would be ok with 9 wins this year.

Shootout?

WVU has almost everyone back on defense. They are solid up front. They have NFL talent in the 2ndary.

Unless WVU turns the ball over-or wilts in the heat-both possible-there will be no shoot out.

On the other hand, WVU will be breaking in a true sophomore qb. So LSU will not have to respect the pass too much, and if they can shut down Devine, WVU will find points hard to come by.

Rather than a shootout, my best guess would be LSU 20-10. WVU does not play well on the road, new qb, new punter, the heat, as well as better overall talent will favor the Tigers at home.

WVU can win, but it will likely take LSU miscues to make it so. WVU's defense is solid, so if WVU can find a way to post 27 points, the game should be safely in hand. Unless WVU is turning the ball over too.

if WVU would not have had 6 turnovers against Auburn last season, they would have won that game with ease
