You don't actually think the team vote was the be-all, end-all in deciding to let him back on the team, do you?

Of course not. But in this case, Les not being more clear on the matter left himself and LSU open to ridicule.

Les should have just said he alone decided to let Hill back on the team.

Kanell and Galloway talked about this in an earlier segment and Kanell somewhat defended Les and how he lets the judicial system play out and become a factor in his decision. But I was disappointed that neither mentioned his history dealing with Mathieu and Perrilloux.

I knew they were gonna revisit this topic once news was released Stoops suspended Joe Mixon for a similar charge involving him striking a woman during an altercation.

Miles does it the right way. It's not different than a member of your family. You don't just turn your back. Saban said it at Media Days...

That's the bad part with so many channels and more talk about CF. They run out things to say and start unloading this crap

If Les would kick off one of the better players another big name school would get them. Like OK St did with Green when he was kicked off Missouri.

CFB knows this.

On the SECN Sunday they had the 2008 SECCG playing. Between the two teams, these were the players arrested or had serious incidents (aka Spikes) on the 2008 rosters: Rolondo Mcclain, Cam Newton, Aaron Hernandez (later arrested after his time at FL obviously), Brandon Spikes, Chris Rainey, Frankie Hammond Jr, Carlos Dunlap, Janoris Jenkins, Marquis Hannah, Carl Johnson, Riley Cooper, Jacques Rickerson, Prince Hall, Rashad Johnson, Jeremy Elder, Courtney Upshaw, Roy Upchurch, Brandon Fanney, Brandon Deaderick, Mark Barron.

Other than the insignificant players, no big player had significant punishment (Cam was a FR and AH hadn't yet killed people).

Also, Urban had more players arrested under his tenure than any other coach, but that's never mentioned.

I wonder if the school would leave themselves open for a lawsuit if they suspend a player for something he did not do. Mills is pretty adament that he is innocent, and in fact the story sounds a bit suspect.

Where's the loss?

ETA: Short answer: This could never happen.
