A Louisiana judge ordered former LSU, McNeese State University and Miami Dolphins running back Cecil “The Diesel” Collins held without bond Monday until a July 1 hearing, when the judge could revoke Collins’ probation in a 1998 Baton Rouge case and send him back to prison for up to five years.

The 36-year-old Collins, who was released from a Florida prison May 1 after serving more than 13 years of a 15-year prison term for a burglary conviction, appeared before state District Judge Mike Caldwell in shackles and wearing a bright orange East Baton Rouge Parish Prison jumpsuit.

He just likes to cuddle with people while they sleep.

I think he was having an affair with that woman in Florida and the break in charges were just to protect her arse from her husband.

May be the same with the LSU student and her dad.

Man, 13 years for B&E seems like the guy has paid his dues. Kinda sucks that the Louisiana penal system feels the need to spend more money on him. Hope he does 6 months and they let him out (assuming he has good behavior and whatnot).

One would think that something about this would've been mentioned in trial.

It seems like something is missing to this story. He must be a freaking menace to the prison if he did 13 years of a 15 year sentence. Nobody does that. He was probably up for parole after 6-7 years and has been denied several times. That's just my guess! The kid has issues!

He is a sexual deviant.

LINK

He pulls out his weenie at the drop of a hat. He pulled it out once to a female guard, just minutes after giving a tv interview saying he learned his lesson/found god/learned from his mistakes, etc...Who knows how many times this happened over the last 13 years?

He did it before prison, while in prison, and probably will after prison.

The law is without passion. The bottom line is that he broke probation in Louisiana with the trouble he got into in Florida. He did his time there, and could well wind up doing a little here. The guy knew what he was doing was going to have criminal consequences, so why feel sorry for him? Hate he did it, but you play, you pay.

I think Cecil is more comfortable in jail, plus I'm pretty sure he has turned to Jesus, or so he says. Does anyone know what kind of grades Cecil made at LSU? I saw an article once where he spoke as if he would have an extremely difficult time passing 3rd grade.

Does he have any eligibility left? Tigers could use another running back.

Anyone got any recent pictures of him? I also agree that he must not have been the most well mannered inmate if he served almost his entire sentence.
