I'm pretty sure the law of contracts prevails in this matter.

Cbs selected MIss St vs Ole Miss because they were both rated high which is why the iron bowl was not in the afternoon slot last year Also regarding Joe Alleva "requesting" the UF LSU be a night game...my thoughts are if CBS has first rights then all Joe did was just for show because he knows his requests have no teeth and thinks this would be a good move from a perception stand point. Joe Alleva is really a crap AD that has done ZERO for tradition and upholding or expanding on the fans experience and game day traditions. For example, wouldn't it be easy to put a city ordinance on the times any games can be played in Baton Rouge? After all, tiger stadium is on state property. cbs does not own Death Valley nor can it impose its rules. With as much crap that goes on in Louisiana politics you would think that everybody would rally around this idea. Good for fans, players, local businesses. If Joe went public with asking local politicians to support this he would be a hero for saving night games....instead he is too worried about how the band sounds on CBS. Hate Joe hope he and his family GTFO and go to Austin.

Holy shite, you are fricking stupid. It would be funny except there are more like you just as fricking retarded.

The selections are suppose to be announced tomorrow but I believe CBS will exercise the 6 day option rule and wait until next Sunday. If LSU and Florida both win this weekend I think CBS will select the Florida game over A&M and Bama because of national interest in Fournette.

Maybe Fla won't be undefeated . I have a feeling they lay an egg this week.

Has CBS picked their double header weekend for the year yet? Didn't they used to have to do this before the season started?

Nah. Mizzou has QB problems and seem to struggle scoring enough. UF offense will execute enough plays to get 24 points and win. That is unless weather plays a factor.

Hot Carl lacks knowledge of what the laws of this country can provide because he lacks the capacity to think outside his little world

For example...a judge delayed trial because of the BCS game.

LINK

If any idiot like Hot Carl decided to for example start a religion and call it Hot Carly Carlism and any Hot Carly Carl believed that it is against their religion to observe football before 6pm and that it disrespected their religious freedoms they can exercise their first amendment and the city and state would have to observe it. Therefore any television contract could not override the constitution.

Say what you will about Mormons but the laws in salt lake city are "imaginative" to respect their religions and traditions. Take for example drinking....big companies have to jump through hoops LINK

Remember what Seattle did to 49ers? LINK

If Joe Alleva wanted to have the games moved to the evening he could easily advocate legal advice on what laws can be passed to allow it to happen.

Also, If Alleva really had imagination he would figure out a way to legally send all the visitor section to the nose bleeds. While we are at it why not figure a way to eliminate all visitors....I understand that it is extreme but there are crazier rules in this country. TV contracts that aren't decided until 6 days before an event can be killed. Alleva lacks the incentive to do it. Thats why he is TERRIBLE for LSU.

Again, I pray Alleva and unimaginative fans like Hot Carl get their families and GTFO.

In before how much money LSU makes on CBS games.....Only a select few have access to that money at LSU. What do they do with that money and ask yourself if the money coming in is so great what has it done for you as a fan? your gameday experience?

Arent they charging to tailgate? Arent Ticket prices going up? Arent they increasing ticket prices and having less home games? So WTF?

Seriously this Joe Alleva

Someone else already said it, but I agree...you're a prime example of the stupidity and ignorance that at times makes me ashamed to be an LSU fan. If I wasn't an LSU alum, I'd have given up by now.
