When do those a$$holes decide what the day game is.

As of now Bama v ATM is a better ranked matchup than LSU v UF.

Bama will host Arky this weekend and ATM had a bye.

UF has Mizzou.

I hope this is a night game.

The same day they always decide what time the game is ... unless they don't.

LSU only has to agree to one day game by CBS. The rest will be at night this season

Not correct.... If CBS wants us every week, it could happen

Assuming LSU/UF remain unbeaten it'll be us and I wouldn't be surprised for Gameday to show up as well. Two undefeated SEC teams and the Fournette factor = ratings.

It appears to be lining up as separation Saturday in the SEC that week.

Sounds more like an adaptation of the old Jefferson pilot rules

I'm not sure but I think Alleva said something that could have been construed for that in a press release. It's not true but people have run with it because they have no idea how this whole SEC TV thing works.

IIRC last year the iron bowl wasn't on CBS because CBS had already selected Alabama 4 or 5 times already that season. So i'm pretty sure there is a maximum, but we're obviously no where near that.

this rumor got started because years ago LSU could say no to Jefferson Pilot about moving a game to early once they had been on at home one time on JP

Cbs selected MIss St vs Ole Miss because they were both rated high which is why the iron bowl was not in the afternoon slot last year

Also regarding Joe Alleva "requesting" the UF LSU be a night game...my thoughts are if CBS has first rights then all Joe did was just for show because he knows his requests have no teeth and thinks this would be a good move from a perception stand point.

Joe Alleva is really a crap AD that has done ZERO for tradition and upholding or expanding on the fans experience and game day traditions.

For example, wouldn't it be easy to put a city ordinance on the times any games can be played in Baton Rouge? After all, tiger stadium is on state property. cbs does not own Death Valley nor can it impose its rules.

With as much crap that goes on in Louisiana politics you would think that everybody would rally around this idea. Good for fans, players, local businesses.

If Joe went public with asking local politicians to support this he would be a hero for saving night games....instead he is too worried about how the band sounds on CBS.

Hate Joe hope he and his family GTFO and go to Austin.

You should see my above post about why the Iron Bowl wasn't selected. I even included a link.

Huey P Long instituted a high tax on railroads until they agreed for special trains to take LSU students to games super cheap. Louisiana politics could get something done.... lol
