I will argue that fans are at the top of the food chain. When we began to target advertisers and boycott them it will compel CBS/ESPN/SEC to limit commercial delays. But until there is an organized response they have no reason to limit delays.

Fans not buying tickets may change the complexion a bit too.
LSU and most other schools can no longer fill their stadiums. LSU didn't even come close to having a full house this year. I understand that LSU sold all the tickets. However, it's only a matter of time before LSU can't sell out.

AT present, our Admin, the SEC, networks operate like this:

"As long as we're making money the fans will follow".

What needs to happen is a shift to:

"As long as we accommodate the fans, the money will follow."

CBS is just awful. Every CFB fan knows it too. You would think CBS wouldn't want that image but I guess it doesn't effect their revenue

The OP is spot on. We noted a handful of times during the game just how painfully slow the time outs made things. It's enough to make you appreciate soccer!

Anybody sitting in the stadium during that game who doesn't want every CBS executive lined up and shot is a sadist of the nth degree....pure torture after every other play!
