I have you beat. I'm IN a wedding, in the evening, on Nov. 5th. I can't remember, but it seems like something else is supposed to be going on that night....

I just hope we are able to make it a good game. LSU is a damn good football team and we dont match up well at all in this game.

1) Is there any chance that kick off against Bama will be at 7 now?

2) Got married in January. My wife knew better than to try and schedule our wedding during football season, much less bowl season.

My wedding is at halftime of the game...with open bar reception and 2 TVs all set to show the second half. Hopefully the wedding you are going to at least had the courtesy to have TV's ready and waiting.

I'm a little annoyed that it's a day game, since I'm making the trip to Knoxville.

I don't think any other S.E.C. schools traditionally play at night other than L.S.U.. South Carolina maybe.

Yes. Pull for LSU and/or Bama to do a complete nose dive befor Nov. 5.

What does it matter anyway, the game is in Tuscaloosa

Get ready for 4 CBS games in a row. They've got Florida and Tennessee already. If Auburn keeps winning and enters the top ten, how does CBS not take that game? Then, there's the BCS Championship Game that CBS is absolutely going to take.

Toss in the bye week, which is the Cocktail Party, and I don't think it's all that big of a stretch to think that CBS has LSU on 3 times, a week off for the cocktail party, then LSU/Bama.

That won't happen. Since CBS went to airing nothing but SEC games, I've never seen them air a team 3 weeks in a row.

The LSU-Auburn game will be on ESPN at 6 or 8pm.

ETA: The only way CBS will air a team 3 weeks in a row is if the 3rd game is the SEC Championship.

So true. That being said, 11 years ago last summer we scheduled our wedding in June, thinking we'd avoid any and all sporting conflicts. How were we to know LSU would be playing in the College World Series that day? We were taking photos in the church and the reception was getting going at the historical home across the street, when suddenly this huge roar reaches us-- we'd just won the ball game, and the wife & I were stuck posing for photos. and
