Park somewhere north of campus about 8 hours before kickoff, then just start walking towards the stadium. Just walk up and introduce yourselves, tell people where you're from and it's your first game in Death Valley. You'll be wasted and full by the time you get to your seats.

I prefer parking by Walk Ons. Its free and not a terrible long walk

The other thing I wanted to ask is we are sitting in the Tiger Terrace on the west side of the stadium. How are the seats?

The west side is the best side. You will get shade before anyone else. If you do find yourself in the sun, take regular cool down trips to the stadium's inner barracks. The humidity can be brutal and chances are you will see others passing out around you.

I think the Chimes on the North Gates of campus has Labatt and Molson on tap.

I would post this thread again the week before the game. More likely to get better answers and possibly invites to someones tailgate. Enjoy yourself Eh.

LJT, if you'd like, I'll be out there with my fiancé, and we are willing to show you around.. I can show you the good spots, and know how to get around campus so that you can see a lot of it.. Just let me know and I can shoot you an email.

During career spent a little time in-out of Toronto. Enjoyed it.

You'll see this on many other such threads, but one thing to get a real flavor as a prelude to entering stadium:

Apx. 2hrs. prior to game time, go to NE side of stadium on Stadium Dr. Step off about 75 paces NE of players entrance (just ask someone). Tons of folks will be there (50% at some level of inebriation), look back uphill (NE) to top of hill and you will see players get out of bus and walk down to stadium. Then a little later, the Tiger band will march down same hill and stop where you will be. BE PREPARED TO GET HYPED!

My favorite memories of pre-game from age 5 to 60 with grandkid.

Enjoy your stay. Like any other large city, good-bad areas.

PS: It's been 12 yrs for our being there, so you might want to ask someone about my 2-hr timeframe noted above...things change over time.
