A lot of Miles' wins were so hard to watch because it felt like the team should have performed better. But the truth is, at the end of the day, it is all about winning regardless of the stat line. Miles using this exact philosophy quoted above caused a lot of anguish among the fans. Especially when we would have a nailbitter finish against the school of the deaf and blind.

I feel that Canada will be awesome here, so this isn't a negative reaction. I was never a huge fan of Miles, so don't tell me to let it go. This was just something I noticed and wanted to discuss for the fun of it because this is a "discussion board."

Edit: Title due to autocorrect for all the grammar police and Russian hackers on here.

I would argue that it was more of trying to do too much in weird ways causing all kinds of confusion and not allowing the game to flow. To make your point, I would add, not using superior talent in an effective way.

There really wasn't much there.

What coach doesn't have the view that scoring the most points wins the game?

Canada'S philosophy is very simple: use the talents and skill sets of the players currently on his roster. Put them in a position to be successful.

I believe Miles philosophy as of late was, we will out athletic, out muscle and outplay the opposition by forcing our will against them. We will run and not turn the ball over on our way to victory.

I believe Canada's philosophy will be, we will pass to beat you, or we will run to beat you. Whatever your weakness is, we will exploit. He doesn't care if we run for 30, if the pass allows us to score. I don't think he cares if we pass for 10, if we are kicking your arse running.

Thats actually all some of us Miles supporters wanted. He just couldn't do it properly. Passing MORE wasn't necessarily passing better under Miles.

I would agree, but then tell me you also never criticized how Miles' wins looked. I know I did. After some games, you would have thought we lost because the team played so bad.
