I've been tough on the man for 87 formations on trap dive right. But last night we were so balanced and so creative with getting short passes Etling can make into hands of playmakers. I haven't been that fooled watching a LSU game in a long time. Stretched the field without going vertical and being one dimensional, and quick developing plays took pressure off Oline pass blocking.

Ole Miss took away the deep ball all night, and Canada took everything they were giving him. It really was brilliant. I just hope we can have half of that success vs Bama.

Stoppppppppp. Not a one completion to a wide receiver. Ole miss run defense is on the same level as UL-Lafayette.

Canada has done a really good job the last couple weeks. Especially given the limitations of the QB.

So play into their strength and not their weakness? Les?

WTF. Not one completion to wide outs, protection scheme problems, and drives stalling out. I am thrilled with victory and the Tigers, but remain very skeptical of Canada and his offensive philosophy and calls.

Canada's rink dink offense will get stuffed against Bama. DE is not quick getting ball out, our OL is porous to the pass rush, and their DL will reset the LOS 3 yards in our backfield. Crimson Midget will load the box. Until we get a qb.....this offense will not hang with good teams.

Our Oline does not pass block well. Our QB is not a vertical threat. Etling was 9/13 for 200 and 2TD's.

That was a well called game

Wtf does it matter who caught the passes? We had over 200 yds passing strictly to the tight ends and backs.

Its called adapting. The defense takes something away the offense does something else. Thats the whole game of football in a nutshell.

They shut down our recievers and we still had a respectable passing game. Thats good football.

Ole miss strategy should have been take away the run. They didn't take away the deep ball. Our vertical passing game, if you haven't noticed has been non existent for about 5 years. Nothing new here.

We had like 600 yards. I don't give a damn how we got it. It worked.

the two he threw were dropped. he took what the defense gave.

but don't let me challenge your narrative.

negative, negative, negative. if you just have a passion for negativity and criticizing LSU, why don't you comment on our defense. poor tackling, weak up the middle and stupid penalties.

Of course it will. Largely because of the QBs limitations.

Be sure to email him about your great discovery. As others have already posted, maybe he takes what he's given.
