This thread is bringing back some very funny memories for me.

On my first trip in Tiger Band we went to Notre Dame. I was just a very innocent kid and didn't know anyone in the band. Anyway, the two guys I roomed with left an impression. I didn't have my key and couldn't get in. I heard some noise in the room and I knocked. Well, there was no answer. I saw the curtain was slightly open and there was a light on so I thought I would knock on the window to get his attention. As I looked into the room I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was not for the squeamish. It was one of my roommates doing it with a piccolo player. The other roommate was only in the band to go on the Notre Dame trip. He dropped out after that.
Anyway, most people have no idea about how wild Tiger Band was then. I remember having our porn party at my place with my section members. OMG! That was a funny night. I still blame that for our loss to Miss. State the next day (1984).

Actually this is all pretty surprising to me because every time I see anybody's band, not just TGFTL I see some pretty nerdy looking kids. Don't get me wrong I love the bands and what they contribute, but individually I wouldn't think other kids would think of any of them as being very cool. I see a lot of fat chicks and nerdy looking people in general in our band and others so I couldn't imagine how sexual misconduct could ever be a concern.

well when i look into the student section i see a bunch of fat chicks and nerdy lookin kids i would never talk to also... its just like anythhing else it has clicks ...you have the band kids that are there for music then you have like me and my friends that are in it for football and going to all of the games... id rather wear a uniform and work for a few hours a week and get paid to go to all of the games then have to pay and not go to away games because of cost.... plus you get to be part of something huge in lsu tradition

Thats a bad move, they are more punishing the fans than the band. Do any kind of punishment but suspending them from the game is wrong.

Hey - to the ones who think the band has a lot of nerds, well, have you not seen Revenge of the Nerds?

yea otown u have no idea what ur talking about...that whole band nerd stereotype is overrated when it comes to college bands
