Can you imagine how good this team would be with a good QB?

To me JJ and Lee are two sides of the same coin - barely adequate QBs that both have a penchant for horrible decisions in critical moments. I'm hoping Lee can cut down on the mistakes and terrible across his body floating passes and manage this team through the season...but, man, if we had a Mauch type guy under center I think this team would clearly be unbeatable and probably ranked #1. Defense is sick and the skill positions are loaded. Great vic hope Lee shows some improvement.

Get off it!! Enjoy the win This was a conservatively played game by LSU and it paid off big time. As Les said at the end, Lee can and will play better. They will need him at some point, but not to stew the Ducks. (over rated)

we'll be humming by West Va. RR/ODB/Jarvis will have established their dominance more fully, and Lee will be playing better.

Does a good qb force wr's to catch? I think we could have an all american back there and we would still run then throw and allow the d to win games.

Sorry but a better a better Qb doesn't do much. How about better wr that can make avg and above avg catches.

If you are talking an Andrew Luck type QB LSU would NOT lose a game and every game would be a blowout. BUT Lee is a serviceble QB that CAN lead us to the NC.

I think it would be difficult to make almost any QB look good with the offense we run. Not being critical in that it wins a lot of games.

Lee has my 100% support. He's a good man and throws a gorgeous catchable ball and leads people so they can run after the catch.
