That is the problem with Les Scoop. He has no imagination and doesn't realize he and Stud are the problems.

Miles doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about any of you until his boss tells him to change something

You realize Stud was a "real" OC before coming to LSU, right?

Oh, I completely disagree. I never could have imagined this ever but only someone with great imagination could state this with 2:30 left on the clock and you have the lead.

quote:

After Hopkins' second TD catch, LSU got the ball with 2:43 remaining and threw three straight passes. Only one was complete in the three-and-out series that took only about 1 minute off the clock, leaving Clemson with enough time for its winning drive against LSU's exhausted defense.

Hill did not have a carry in the fourth quarter.

"We had to throw the football," Miles said.

"We were not running the football. They were in a position where they outnumbered us in the run."

LSU's three passes allowed Swinney to save his timeouts.

"I had three timeouts," Swinney said. "If he runs it three times, I can call timeout, timeout, timeout.

LINK

Only the someone with an insane amount of imagination would have stated that he had to throw the ball with 2:30 left in the game and it's 2nd and 2 and Clemson has three time outs. Only someone with an insane amount of imagination would have a lead and with his offense going onto the field with 2:47 left and doesn't run the ball so the opposition can save there three timeouts.

Actually, the series at the conclusion of the third quarter (a three and out) bothers me just as much as the 2nd and 3rd and two.

Was at the game (section 245 - club level). We had the ball deep in the Clemson side of the field (near the end zone with their fans and band) with less than a minute to go before the end of the third quarter. Rather than running the ball twice and running out the clock and getting to the LSU side of the field we ran three miserable plays and punted from their end zone.

A simple lack of common sense.

LSU defense is the best in the country in my opinion but not when they play 100 fricking plays a game. .... Agree, if I'm a defensive recruit for LSU, I'm licking my chops to play @ LSU..Getting to play whats equivalent to 3 qtrs a game...But if I'm an offensive recruit, I might be looking somewhere else!....

Most of the current fan base didn't live thru Cholly
Mac. This feeling you have will get worse when the
Saban jokes start . Talent will keep us competitive
but coaching will never allow us to excel. You know
it's here when you feel good about 10 win season after having loss to a hot team and, never beating an elite program. The coaches will continue to get raises ,the casual fan will always have next year
and, the rabid fans will live perpetual red arse.
