1) It's not good to alienate former players, regardless of who they are, especially when they do care about the program.
um...when that player purposefully steers players away from LSU because we hired Trent Johnson, yeah, we can tell him to GTFO. Great coaches don't need former players around to build a winner. They need great players. Collis Temple showed his true colors when he helped derail LSU to show that he was "better" for LSU than Trent Johnson.

Collis Temple is a cancer that needs to be removed quickly. He cares about himself, not LSU.

I was never sure if it was a race fear factor or the misplaced sense of his recruiting connections (that IMHO began and ended with his sons eligibility) or maybe both, but he sure has been given a lot of say in a lot of matters concerning LSU hoops.

Whichever it is I certainly think this latest CJJ occurrence should at least push him to the kiddie table.

That's right kam. Anyone who thinks he deserves another year is a moron.

1. Chokes 16 point lead in NCAA tourney
2. Misses tourney with Simmons
3. This year
4. Poor recruiting of bigs

So Shaq gets none of the blame here? Wasn't he the biggest proponent of JJ getting this job?

Also, you can't blame Mr. Temple for recommending a close friend of his for a job.

I can blame him and I am blaming him and Dale Brown.
