Catholic high. The GOAT 97 team had 7 guys from Catholic. Then we throw in the pitching GOAT Nola and the golden glove Nola and that's a wrap

You are right. Only 2. So 22% of the starting lineup of the 97 team went to Catholic High

Louisiana in general is a pipeline. I think Mandeville is vastly overlooked. I played ball with Cannizaro younger brother who went on to Tulane, with Ryan Adams who was the talk of everything and skipped for pro ball. Mitch Sewald was from Mandeville and commuted to Rummel. Handsome Monica went to Arizona and is now at NWF. Even Cole Freeman is from Mandeville and was smaller coming out but developed at Delgado. Mandeville has 3 5A schools and 1 4A school within the same city limits and produces tons of players and more are even overlooked.
