If he hypothetically isn't ready to go next week, how would y'all expect that game to go? Would be tons of unknowns for me with the obvious one being at QB and then our defense is supposedly making some changes. Add to all that I don't know very much about South Carolina yet

South Carolina is likely better than Missouri. Being that bad on D every game is a monumental challenge even at full strength.

Everybody else Freshman QB, or first time to start QB always looks good against LSU.

About time it goes the other way if Brennan happens to be out.

Yes. Lean on Emery and co. Hit a few big plays to TM6 and AG2 to keep them honest. Get away from air raid and actually run the ball to play ball control.

That is a pretty ridiculous question to ask seeing as all we know about the freshman QBs comes from HS tape.

But yes, in any given year LSU should be able to beat USC regardless of the QB.

I'm usefully pretty optimistic about LSU but I'm gonna go with no chance if Brennan is out. Our defense is the worst we've ever had. We're not beating any SEC team with a freshman qb and THAT defense.

If the LSU defense continues to give up over 42 points --- who we have at QB doesn't matter --- we will struggle to win any game, regardless of who we are playing.

It's for sure "one week at a time" --- and as of today --- who, when, and where will we play... 2 SEC games postponed this weekend and rescheduled to Dec. 12 ---- then what --- are the Vandy and UF teams going to fully recover by the following week and start playing again?

I'm afraid this season is going down the tubes for everyone quickly -- but I guess all we can do is wait, hope and see what happens.

No shite!

I'm not saying it is ideal to have to start a true freshman QB, but other schools have been able to have success with true freshman and/or 1st year starters. Perhaps not necessarily playoff contender level success...but at least good enough to beat the lower tier teams of the conference.

Hell, Mizzou's QB last week had minimal prior experience and LSU made him look like a GD Heisman Trophy candidate.

That would be a pleasant surprise. I'm still dumbfounded he wasn't utilized last week.

Talent wise, yes. Their defense is much better but their offense is still suspect.
Of course our defense can make any offense look good. I still think LSU can win with one of the freshman with a good game plan.
