When you recruit the top talent in your part of the country, you don't fricking struggle or lose to shite teams. Plain and simple.

It happens all the time actually. Basically every weekend teams with "more talent" lose to teams with "less talent."

I wouldn't say the energy is gone. I'd say we're a little flat or lost some wind in our sails. Years of consistently underperforming (offense) will do that. We start to put some points on the board or completely shut down teams and win like we used to regularly and it will be back.

Myself, I'm excited about an actual offense that is good and can be really good, and a defense that appears to be getting better and better. I don't want to hear all the positive comments from you pathetic fans, when LSU starts putting in together THIS YEAR.

I really don't understand people like you. Time and time again your kind post stuff like this and time and time again les disappoints. We all love LSU here, we have all gotten excited over some early season wins, but all this over scoring 23 on a horrible Mississippi State team. Come on man

The energy and excitement surrounding LSU football is alive and well to those who choose to not live miserably. Personally, I can't wait to see how much better Aranda can make our defense and how much Etling/our offense can improve.

I actually feel sorry you doom and gloom types can't enjoy football season when it comes and goes so fast. You'll also never be satisfied and will always think there's a better coach out there to be hired.

It's about once being elite with swag and now LSU is kind of like a good Arkansas team...

I agree, but the shine is about to be back and be bright so put those shades on. I think if we can show progress the next 2 weeks, this team is going to be vary dangerous. We were hyped up for a reason, and now we have a capable QB and what looks to be a new life in the offense. I'm fricking jacked about the rest of the season. Get out my way

Only for true "fans" The rest of us that enjoy college football and watching top talent play are excited. I can't wait for football season to get here and watch the tigers play. I'm sorry I don't stomp around crying like a little bitch because I'm not entertained like someone said I should be.

We see the problems, we just choose to be happy. It will change when the big money's decide to change it.

No, no one with big money post on this board.

BTW- Coach O is the next Head Coach of the fighting tigers

Call me spoiled but I like winning. Do whatever the hell it takes and win.

I'm enjoying our offense with Etling at the helm. I couldn't watch another game with Harris at QB.

This State is chock-full of low-expectation having muthafrickas. I guess thats why we're so dysfunctional.

Ok, so you're basically saying it's more fun to be a top 5 team rather than a top 20 team. No shite. It boils down to, can you find any enjoyment in LSU sports even if we aren't considered "elite?" I mean, just last season we were ranked in the top 5. This year we started top 10. We have top 5 talent. We may have found a QB. I'm not going to apologize for that making me excited on our potential for the rest of the season.

The problem is so many Lsu fans are more concerned with being right than just enjoying our teams success. I'm sure there were plenty of Lsu fans cursing Miles when he kept going for it on 4th down with Hester against Florida. Or cursing him after the Flynn to Byrd TD against auburn. "Wait until next time when it bites us in the arse." To hell with that. I'm going to enjoy our success and hope for more of it.

I would love to see most of the negatigers on here at work. See what kind of standards you hold yourself to. I know Miles makes millions, blah blah blah, the guy has been successesful at his job. More successful than most people In his field. And more successful than all who came before him at our university.

Just think if your secretary, or the cleaning lady at your office (Ranters), kept looking over your (Miles) shoulder telling you how you need to be doing your job. A job that by almost all metrics that youve done quite well for an extended period of time. "Do it this way. Do it that way. I don't know shite about your job but do what I want. Wha wha wha! Blah blah blah ??"

I'm as bummed about the way this season started (and the last couple ended) as anyone. But shite, balls bounce your way sometimes and sometimes they don't. Especially in sports. These are kids playing a game. Yal are the people ruining the game and the atmosphere. Not the team. Not miles. They're out there giving blood sweat and tears for the university, the state, and yal and yal do is just whine.

Sheesh

I cant speak for the rest of the "negatigers" but Im a fricking perfectionist and I expect others to, at the very least, give a little bit of a shite. Sometimes that means trying new methods, tools and techniques if the outcomes havent been desirable.

People tend to learn how to do things early in their life/career and then never experiment or try new things. Problem is that life isnt static. Its always changing and you have to be willing to change with it or get left behind. Adaptability is the key to survival.

There's only one team that seems to be playing up to their talent. tOSU. And one team playing above themselves, UL.

The rest of the country has struggled in games.

Hell the coach everyone wanted last season needed 5 turnovers to come back and win and just had one of the worst losses in program history, his team just laid down.

Why can't we be like ole Miss? FSU? UT? I mean we heard this shite all last week just for those teams to fall flat on their fricking faces.
