LSU went 8-5 last year including the bowl game, how realistic is it that LSU goes 12-1 or better this year?

McNeese W
Mississippi State W
Auburn Toss Up
Syracuse W
Eastern Michigan W
South Carolina W
Florida Toss Up
Western Kentucky W
Alabama Toss Up
Arkansas Toss Up
Ole Miss Toss Up
Texas A&M W

right now I see 7 obvious wins with 5 toss ups.... so LSU could go 11 and 1 before bowl play....

Obviously LSU needs improved QB play and some receivers to step up as well

Not sure I see State as an obvious win, that's going to be a tough game

No. Eight wins. Lose to a less talented better coached team in bowl game. Reality bites.

If QB play isn't better it's another 8 win year. So I'm betting it's another 8 win year

Why not?
2014- Last year was a 3 point game
2013- 9 point game
2012- lost by 8 points
2011- 36 point victory

so it isn't like LSU has been blowing them out

Sure, the 2002 team went from 8-5 to national champions the next year. We all know that one key ingredient that has been missing for a number of years. Will it happen, time will tell. But if that one position pans out. I can absolutely see it happening.

The difference between '02 and '03 which resulted in a jump from 8 wins to 13 and the BCS title was improved QB play and defensive leadership. Sound familiar. Those are the two main areas of improvement needed for this team which, like 2003, is loaded with superior talent. It could happen. Tiger fans did get to see the leadership potential of Mauck prior to his season-ending injury in '02 while the jury's still out on Jennings and Harris.

Florida is here and should be terrible in rebuilding mode.

USCe is away and will be better than Fla.

Because they have a new coach? How many new coaches have we seen actually improve their first year, Florida could as well because they have talent.

I think that Florida is not a toss up. It will be an easier win than MSU, and we should win that one. They have worse QB play than us, and their D will be worse. Plus it's in BR.

Auburn is toughest game on Schedule followed by Bama.

Arky won't be a toss up this year. We beat them by double digits if we are still in the race for the West. Ole Miss is a toss up,but we should win.

We could easily lose to Bama, Auburn, Scar on road, and throw a loss to either Ole Miss or State that could be 4 L's.

Even in a pie in the sky season I still think we drop minimum one game.

I have us at 11-1 or 10-2 worst case. The improvement I expect will surprise a lot of people.

I'm going to say there's about a 30% of 12+ wins.

Not unless a decent QB drops out of the sky.
