AU fans around me are calling for Malzahn's head. One is going to every game with a "Fire Gus Malzahn" sign. Interestingly, he could be sitting by an LSU fan holding a "Fire Les Miles" sign during the LSU/AU game, which could certainly attract the cameras.

Does AU have the resources/program to draw Herman that we have?

UT doesn't look like it will have an opening.

You're assuming LSU can compete for Herman. The two buy-outs are cost prohibitive.

Texas just beat a top 10 team. Looks like they will keep Charlie Strong if that win indicates anything.

I really don't think the cost is prohibitive. I don't think that's a major problem. The biggest problem is getting the administration to have the balls to shoot for a big name.

LSU vs Auburn for Herman shouldn't be close. His main recruiting area is shared with LSU. I don't see why he'd choose Auburn over LSU.

Yeah, but they probably won't come out on top.
