Jennings isn't terrible. Remember JL? His first season was worse than Jennings is now. Granted, we threw a lot more with Lee.. Then in Lee's Senior season.. He was a beast (sorta)?

Jennings definitely shows a lot of potential. And I'm excited to see both him and Harris develop and mature.

Those guys have obvious gifts and talents that would have gotten them to a certain level of play with any OC.

Well, that's quite a strawman. Flacco couldn't even start at Pitt. I'd say he developed him from the ground up.

All of these guys were drafted higher than Brees and Flacco. I'd say evaluators thought they had gifts as well: Jason Cambell, Leinart, Grossman, Patrick Ramsey, Brady Quinn, Kyle Boller, P.J. Losman, Vince Young, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Jamarkus, Ryan Leaf.

It's pretty easy to say, "Oh, he's talented and have gifts and would have developed great regardless." Too many guys don't.

I think he is scared to make a mistake though.

he was. but even the throws before that play were pretty awesome. jennings looked like he had a TON of confidence. he doesn't look like the same QB anymore.

No question he has an impressive resume...just not sure he's ever been handcuffed like this before (from his coach or his quaterbacks!)

I guess you forgot his poise by completing a really nice pass over a defender Dillon Gordon, stepping away from pressure, right after being pinned on 2 yard line, with time running down, being a true freshman, leading a team on a legit upset alert. People praised that whole drive he led, not just the bomb to Dural.
