Many warned that this would happen under Ed- but I never thought this would happen again in my life time.
It is the week of the freaking FLORIDA game and you can’t even give a ticket away.. completely pathetic. There legitimately might be less than 45k in the stadium. How long do you think it’ll take to “bring back the magic” that even Les Miles could maintain?

Dude, I know the team has a lot to do with this, but, man. This state has been hit hard with pandemic and FOUR fricking hurricanes since 2019. I have friends in Lake Charles still homeless and friends down the bayou that are so bad off. Big LSU fans, but that is pretty much the last thing on their minds right now. The state of this state is shite.

I’m guessing you weren’t around in 1998. There was plenty of excitement around that team. The hatred of Loe Tepper was strong though. The team was loaded and every game was close except the last game. With a different defensive coordinator that team stays in the top 15 all season.
1999 on the other hand went south really quick. This year has more of a 1999 feel.
