He gets a lot of grief on here. But he was 100% correct. It was a done deal Jimbo was coming here. LSU backed out when king pulled the plug.

King and Jindal don't forget about Jindal. As far as les he will pull his usual run of oh I won 9-10 games.

Yep, and instead of having a legit source of information like we had with him he likely won't share much of what he knows anymore because of the idiots here.

That's my question too. Someone had a story on here that sounded plausible that the governor stepped in in the 11th hour and told King that the state would cut funding to LSU by the same amount as the buyout if it happened. If true it would seem it would've been Edwards since Jindal was done by then.

F King created this shite-show by meddling in the athletic program and letting academic finance politics get in the way of athletic progress.
F King, Keep your nose out of athletics, an arena you had no business meddling in to begin with. No business whatsoever and it is appalling to me that you did.
If you don't have the intellectual capacity to explain to the public and politicians that LSU athletics does not get a dime from the University, then you do not deserve to be leading this institution.
It was set up perfect last year, Miles gets his positive send-off and farewell, LSU keeps rolling with a fresh head coach. Now unfortunately it's probably going to get ugly fo a few months this season because of F King's inappropriate frickup from last year.
