Miles has some minor adjustments to make

Come on. The adjustments (at least on offense) are major. Miles needs a new, more open and unpredictable offensive philosophy, he needs to hire a new OC who fits that philosophy, and then he then needs to get out of the way. That's not a minor adjustment, it's a major overhaul of the offense.

We did enough on offense to beat Alabama, we had too many drops and the Beckham fumble against Florida, and Clemson destroyed our OLine all game. Most of that is execution. We are a power run team and yes we should mix it up, we can be like West Virginia and scored a ton of points but lose like what 6 games? Perhaps that is more your style. Miles preaches execution because if we do what we do best effectively only Alabama can hang with us and that was proven last year.

Our success on offense is going to be a lot different vs. North Texas as opposed to Alabama and Florida

that's why i listed the average, rather than the total points scored in the season.

in 2011-2012, we averaged 35.71 points per game. and what were the primary complaints after that season? the offense sucks, the qbs suck, the OC sucks, etc. (because we lost a single game)

the fact is that you babies are going to bitch and moan about the offense as long as it doesn't score 75 points per game, so your objections can't be taken seriously.

and yes, i would like the offense to produce better in 2013-2014, but i'm not ready to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

And how much of these points were scored by the defense....?
a more subtle underlying question....how many of these points were from the offense starting at the 50 yard line or less....?

Fact is, last year the Defense set up the offense and put them on a short field.

Fact is I like Miles but he refuses to adjust. Top coaches recognize this and use it against him. There's no QB development and for a guy that used to play O-line, this team has had some underperforming lines the last 5 years.

You just might be the worst poster on all of Tigerdroppings. And that's saying a lot.

What makes you so terrible? You're totally oblivious to how stupid you really are. Thus you keep posting stupid, inane shite. This is on every board I've seen you on.

What does a degree in psychology have to do with this? So no one can provide an opinion of great pith or moment unless he has a degree in psychology. How do you know that a degree in psychology is worth lining the birdcage with? What matters is what the OP says and if it makes sense. There are Tards who resort to name calling and mother mentioning, but they are paid little heed. Go back to your couch...

thanks for making my point.

we score 29.8 points this season = the offense sucks. we score 35.71 points the year prior = the offense sucks.

jj and jl give us an undefeated regular season (even though we lost the biggest and final game) = the qbs suck. mettenberger isn't a heisman candidate in his first year as the starter = the qb sucks.

we lose a game primarily running the ball = we should have passed. we lose a game primarily passing = we should have run the ball.

jimbo fischer is the OC = he should be fired. gary crowton is the OC = he should be fired. stud is the OC = he should be fired.

les miles has 5 10+ win seasons in 7 years = he's a bumbling idiot.

do you see the pattern here? there is no satisfying the rant.

I am a trained counselor. It is simply disappointment. You could argue that people use anger to deal with their disappointment, but then again, the disappointment is real. The question is, can we feel and grieve our losses (we thought we'd do better this year) without losing hope for what is to come. LSU fans love their Tigers which translates into deep disappointment. The answer is to not put all your hopes in the basket of LSU football. I for one have felt disappointed but in the end, it is just football and the LORD will see us through our losses and help us to win at life and beyond. I hope Miles gets a new OC, but then again, our life can't depend on the outcome of LSU football games! Go Tigers!

This is an interesting post for me. I think back to two years ago when we lost to TN (before we won). I was a nega-tiger at that moment. I was beyond help! Then of course we won, but talk about disappointment! What are we doing!!

This year, I felt that way about losing to Bama. Should have beat Bama, and should have beat Clemson!!

I don't think there's any doubt.
Even the most diehard of the Miles Gestapo won't jump on that bandwagon, bud.

I've done so to myself already:

I'm a self-centered narcissistic a-hole who has a very low tolerance for excuses and under achievement in those areas I focus on.

Calling all Board Certified Ophthalmologsts: please explain why Pollyanna Tiger fans are blind to the crap, unimaginative, predictable, stagnant and inefficient offense directed by Les Studthorpe. Get these fricks some LASIK, glasses or a German Shepard

LSU has equal talent

Unfortunately, this is the most widely circulated myth by tiger fans. Do you not follow recruiting at all? We have at least 30% less NFL talent than bama's roster. For instance, in 2011 NFL scouts projected them to have 17 draftable starters to our 11. They have the largest quantity of NFL players ever assembled in history on any team, and its certainly not slowing down anytime soon.

LSU, actually has less talent than Florida each year as well as Georgia. If one can't get this right, I dunno how they can get anything right regarding analysis of the program for this is very easy to acquire information.

If a tiger fan is uninformed, which most sadly are, that can easily explain the source for their negativity. The real question is why would they rather be negative than informed? That's the question.

I believe most of it is psychological "projection" (google that). They attempt to gratify themselves by hurling their own flaws at a perceived easy target (Coach Miles). Notice I said "perceived" easy target.

I say that because Miles is a more accomplished, stronger, classier, and more honorable man that ANY person on this site ever will even attempt to be, and that's a straight fact. Projection is the problem, as is denial, delusion, laziness and a serious lack of being informed on the game of football itself.

Why someone with a degree? Negatigers don't have any coaching experience either, let them have a taste of their own medicine. Let the amateur therapists have some fun too.
