I thought his post game interview was great. And he did mention LSU. He applauded the effort from LSU and how hard they played. Even with just 6 guys. He thought he could wear them down around the 7 minute mark. And by golly he was right.

We are not the first team to play very hard against KY. Every team brings their best against them. That is why this really isn't a moral victory. Other teams have played them close.

Well, after he said "we had that game" but he decided to make a point rather than beat our breaks off.
I don't care one way or the other, but he was saying that he took KAT out to prove a point even if it let LSU in a game that he regarded as over.
