Yes, we've been playing like beasts out there since the Auburn loss. We need a rest, but do you think the bye week will kill our momentum?

I think it'll give the players a much needed rest and they'll come out on November 8, fresh and ready to kick some Gump Arse.

Team needs rest. Only downside is that UA has one too.

we need a rest. We won last week, but I'm sure it put some wear and tear on the team.

Doesn't Les have a pretty good game-after-bye-week record?

This is where Miles makes the big bucks,,, Keeping this young team focused while the routine is broken up... Yes we need rest, But this team was getting on a roll and they need to stay focused on whats ahead....... But I say they will come out fresh and ready for Bama..... A real good game coming up. And YES this team still has something to prove.

Well..we've played Alabama after our BYE every year since 08 (don't remember 07..might be then too). We've also had the extra BYE this year and last

Qbs can use as many extra reps as we can get them.

Which will probably make #StartKragthorpe trend.
and probably bring #StartHarris back. Frankly, I don't care who is behind center, because these coaches aren't here to lose. They're here to win. They see EVERYTHING behind the scenes. They know best. And if they put Logan Stokes in at QB, I'll be all for it, because they know best.

I think it's good for LSU. I even think it's good for the fans. Honestly after last week's emotional win, the players and fans need a break. Physically and emotionally.

I would not have wanted to try to beat Ole Miss and Alabama in back to back weeks, even with both being at home. Thumbs up for the bye week this week.

Les has to bury his Mom this week. Good to not have a game on Saturday.

Prayers for Les and his family

The fans need the rest...Sims doesn't handle the pressure well...LOUD is what we need to be...So rest my friend, rest for a week and HOLLA like hell when Bama comes to town.

No.....we haven't.

We just started to turn the corner potentially for the Ole Miss game.

The slugfest of retards between us and Florida was not us being in "beast mode," even though we won.

Great. 9 games in a row is too many.

only two teams weren't ranked before that game, and only two of those ranked teams, weren't in the top 10. That's an excellent record for situations like that.

I was thinking about this yesterday, with our team being as young as it is it dawned on me how many of our freshmen players have not had a chance to go home since they left for fall camp. Add that up and it constitutes a significant amount of time for kids that were quite possibly away from home for the first time. I believe it will do them good. Much better now than after a loss.
