if you dont think tailgating isnt expensive, than you either have a shitty tailgate or you're mooching off someone else.

" There will not be 1 person who doesn't go tailgate next season because of the increased prices, including you"

sounds like you had a shitty case.

and thats ok.

to whoever questioned your fandom based on your tailgaiting expenditures is a retard.

some people can swing it some cant, but you cant judge based on what people can spend.

my argument is, and will always be, lsu is gonna get what they can, and there is nothing wrong with that.

if people stop spending, the costs will go down. thats a fact.

how much could i get a lsu basketball ticket for today?

i'd be willing to bet you've thrown a crumbled up $20 at some hooker on a stage before, or gone to a casino and dropped $20 on two jack and cokes......just sayin, some shite costs more, and you pay it if you want it.

a one time charge is one thing... but when you're talking 8 games against middle tennessee state? That's fricking excessive.

There is planning involved in that, especially if you have a trailer.

Jeez, whatever guys, if you really believe that there will be less people on LSU's campus next football season because of the increased prices for parking, then you are crazy, period. That has been my point. And it is true. And you know it.

I'm not trying to get into a fight with you, but I do believe your thinking is flawed. For every 1 of you there is tha are backing out, there are 50 people waiting in line. You're not going to hurt "The Man". Trust me, I know what you are saying, but if you give up your tickets, parking spot, etc., someone else will come in and take it gladly.

I actually have a parking pass in Lot F (track parking lot) and I will NEVER give it up. I park on Nicholson for free as of now, and let a family member use the pass, because I get there at 6AM. If they ever charge me to park on Nicholson, I will just start parking in Lot F.

Just saying, renew your tickets, don't renew your tickets, park, don't park, it doesn't matter, LSU will sell out ALL of their season tickets and fill up every lot, as long as LSU is winning.

This man is 110% correct. LSU will not miss you

you might be correct for the big SEC games, but lets see them try to fill up tower drive for the north texas' of the world.

it aint gonna happen, the area around those spots will not have tailgaters.

ok, but i can assure you the costs associated with parking already have that factored in, and the stadium will still be sold out or damn near for those games. in essense, lsu says, tough tiddies.

These spots aren't filled anyway when we play a cupcake. Whether you're talking about last year, the year before, or 1990. The seats weren't filled either. Not a good example. Anytime LSU plays a cupcake there are less people at the game. Just not a good example. So when we play Florida or Alabama, will there be less people on campus because lots are more expensive? And the answer is a resounding NO. And you know it.

factored in by who?

The fans? doubtful.

my crew hasnt discussed how will pay for the additional costs, which will be about a grand just for tailgate supplies.

My guess is that your crew will work it out, find a way to pay it, and continue to tailgate in the same Tiger Fan manner that you have in years past. If I'm wrong, then get with me later and find a place to park and come tailgate with us.
