All freshmen QBs who played well. Lamar Jackson played extremely well as a true freshman last season. The main reason: they have a QB friendly system, their OC allows them to get into a rhythm, and they use the entire field. Les had all spring and summer to change the system. Harris is a spread system QB. If there is any change to the offense, it better start this weekend. Unfortunately, I think it's too little too late.

You think that there are going to be changes.

it's no coincidence that he loves the word 'perimeter,' bc that's the only part of the passing game that he uses

We know. I'm with you and I'm as ready for Miles to be shown the door as anyone else but I'm starting to sympathize with the people that say we're beating a dead horse. LSU is bigger than Les Miles so let's be our crazy loud selves and cheer our Tigers to victory. F the coach. It's about the Tigers.

The comments at halftime, the comments he has made all week. Smh. It's really sad to see how disconnected he is. He thinks that there are minor tweaks that need to be made.

Watching all the freshman QB's last weekend come in and perform decent to really well, really had me discouraged.

Hopefully Miles lets CC open the playbook some and try to play to his strengths some. Even if his strengths are that great. I think Harris just lacks the mental capacity and quick decision making to be a college QB. It just seems like Miles is trying to protect Harris from having to make too many decisions because he doesn't make good decisions. We saw that rear its head on the last interception play last week.

You don't have the smarts or decision making ability if it is 1st down, you are close to FG range, you had space to run, and you throw it towards the 10 yds inside of your WR which is sitting on the sidelines.

No he isn't! That's the biggest misconception amongst LSU fans. I agree that coaching is a huge problem and think it's time for a change. Look at BH's numbers. He was a 51% passer in high school and is 54% at LSU. He's just not accurate, regardless of the system. BH is handcuffing this offense, just as much as the coaching staff by limiting what they can call and having to shrink the field.

He's not the first or the last QB to throw a boneheaded pick. Surely they don't all suck?

You have to take the thinking out of it. WVU HC Dana Holgerson said that they only run a handful of plays. Simple reads. Harris needs to be allowed to get the ball out of his hands quickly. But again LSU has struggled to pass the ball every year that Miles has been here except 2013. Before we blame Harris, we need to blame Les.
