Was just wondering if anyone could help me out here. I have a 4 year old little boy, looking to bring him down for his first game this year. I would imagine he would need a ticket but I've heard from some people that he wouldn't since he's so young. I don't know if that's 100% true. Was just seeing if anyone could give me a definite answer. Thanks in advance.

You'll spend half the game at the playground.

No ticker needed till they're 3. Most attendants will let a small 4 year old in. Just be prepared to be at the playground if he's antsy.

Go to a Sunday game. Tomorrow would be perfect if it isn't raining as it probably won't be full and at the least you can buy a pair out there cheap.

If true, why not just say he's 3? Do they check ID's at the gate?

What 3 year old has an ID? You have to have a ticket after age 2. You can buy a standing room only to ticket specifically for kids. Also after Sunday games, kids get to run the bases...

Ya know, that is kinda some bullshite.

Reveal your effin punk arse bitch, infanticide loving, **** arse **** selves.

Who in the frick don't like a four year old at a baseball game? Same folks that wanted Rudy to get cut, Apollo Creed to win the 2nd time, Goliath to kick David's arse.......hell, y'all probably think the frickin devil was a better fiddle player than Johnny. Be gone.

Child's ticket is only $5. Yes, you will be spending a lot of time at the playground, or "the park" as my 3 year old grandson calls it. On weeknights, the kids can go on the field with the players during the National Anthem. On Sundays, they can run the bases after the game.

As per my 2015 Fan Guide:

All persons above the age of 3 must present a ticket for admission to Alex Box Stadium. Children 3 and under are admitted free of charge.

So the kid has to present the ticket themselves? That's strict!

Take him and enjoy the game. I've taken mine and as long as you've got popcorn and such...no problems. Ignore the insufferable prick who down voted ya.
