We coming in Friday.. Any recommendations on places to eat Friday night?

We plan to see Mike before the game as well. Last time me and my wife came down, we went the the Bengals and bandits shop and hung out at the bar across the street.

We got tickets in section 302.. Hopefully won’t be surrounded by Hotty Toddy’s.. Either way, we will be reppin the Good Guys loud and proud!

Walk-ons is always good for a "gameday" type atmosphere..plus its sure to have something an 8 year old likes.

Remember those days and the sad thing is she's now a junior in college at Ole Miss. We live in MS so the out of state tuition for LSU was not an option. Anyhow, my kids really like Superior Grill, Red Zeppelin Pizza and without a doubt; Coffee Call either that Saturday morning or after the game.

My favorite pre-game spot is Chimes. I have never hit up Walk Ons but I know this board loves it.

Good seats. Our season tix in 302. You will not be surrounded by hotty toddy fans. There may be a few scattered around, but y’all’ll be in good company. Wear sunscreen and some type of visor/baseball cap. Sun will be in our faces & dress for hot.

TJs was basically empty at 5:30 pm after the TN game. Was surprised.

Chime's on Highland (now has a rooftop bar), Mike Anderson's, Parrain's on Perkins, and Walk On's on Burbank would be solid options. Get to those places before the early dinner rush if you can because it will be long waits at most BR local spots.

Depending on when you get to campus Saturday, you can probably park in the West Campus Apartments parking lot or the gravel lot adjacent to it. Walk your way up Alaska Street, cut between Bernie Moore/PMAC and see Michael.

Friday night locales with LSU flavor:
Mike Andersons
Chimes
Walk Ons
Phils Oyster Bar (one of my favorites)
TJ Ribs
Ruffino's if you want high end.

Have fun and enjoy the time with your family!

We are also bringing our 8 yr old daughter & 3 high school juniors boys from Madison, MS. I believe we are in section 213. What location would be best for lunch for all?

That bar is a pretty good restaurant too. The Chimes. They added an 2nd story outdoor area which is pretty cool. The weather's supposed to be nice so that seems like a good spot, but it'll probably be crowded as hell

I’m really not worried about options as much as just a fun atmosphere to hang

Won't be a lot of opposing fans. This is my section too. Wear plenty of sunscreen and a hat as mentioned before. Hopefully lower temps in the 80's and we won't bake like September day games.

City Slice - North Gates of LSU

Then a Cookie/Ice Cream, next door.

Same street as Bayou & Bandits and near Varsity.
