I think we all saw this writing on the wall after the special teams disaster

Is this actually good? I hated him as ST coach as much as the next guy but he's the recruiting director. Theoretically wouldn't we take a small blow in recruiting because of this?

LSU and BK are the brand. Within reason it doesn’t matter who’s pushing the brand.

No inside info, but I’m guessing our resurgence isn’t built around Brian Polian.

I think he was a good recruiter but I'm also confident BK is ten steps ahead of all of us neanderthals.

With Frank Wilson, I think recruiting will be fine.

People are gonna be happy because the special teams disaster but this does seem to be a loss on the roster management side.

He was a great mind to have in the building, and someone who CBK trusts. He was already not going to be on the field and in more of an administration role anyway.

No, he's an elite talent evaluator.

He's not a good ST coach but he's valuable to recruiting.

I kinda Was happy he was in the general manager position or whatever we called it

But this definitely makes me think BK was like “hey maybe explore other options, this is a parachute not a safety net”
