About friggin time, no need for a heavy, short PF that can't jump. Could def use him as TE though, has good hands

He's not talented (compared to other college basketball players), but he gives more effort than anyone else on the team.

I think once you began participating in athletics your eligibility clock starts ticking. I could be wrong

Has nothing to do with when you participate with sports, but has everything to do with when you enrolled and started taking classes as a full time student. at that point, you have 5 years to play 4.

Pretty much.

Register and attend classes as a freshmen and the clock starts. Doesn't matter if you drop out and go back in 2 years. You lost 2 years of eligibility.

Yes. He has one year of eligibility in a non-basketball sport. He can be on scholarship if that sport chooses to grant him one, or he can be a walk-on.

So much confusion in one small post. He will not be on scholarship after this season. He is a senior and has played 4 years. I don't believe he can be given another scholarship for football for one year. He would have to be a walk on and pay his own way.

And why in the name of all that is rational would the football team want him when he hasn't played a down of football since high school? They have lot's of TE's, etc. who have been practicing and playing with the team for years, know the plays, etc.

Stupid post!

He was a damn good receiver at Episcopal for his Junior year of high school

Here he is in the Quarterfinals, with Alonzo Moore (All-Big Ten WR) in man coverage on him. Episcopal was also down 7 with maybe 50 seconds to go.

Bridgewater WR Highlight

I know its just one play but he only played 7 games he was a monster. Great hands by the way, just very raw.

Also number 2 (DE) is LSU's own MJ Patterson

Bridgewater looks a whole lot slimmer in the video. If he was that weight for basketball he probably would have played a lot better. But he definitely should have chosen football instead of basketball. Just too short and overweight to ever make a good bb player.
