Why? So you can call for the next QB off the bench when he shows you he's a freshman? Get over it. This team will be another few years before they have a viable QB. Could be Brennan when he develops but it won't be this year.

This. He may have the skills but he will need at least a year to thicken up or he will get killed.
I'm not comparing them but do you honestly think that Lamar Jackson could survive much less win the Heisman Trophy if he played in the SEC ?
