It probably isn't a coincidence he has been getting starts at 3B.

I guess if the Astros don't have anything to play for late in the season they could put him at 3rd. That's definitely a project

The move from SS to 3B for a good athlete like him? Not really.

This makes my nipples hard.

I really believe he'll be with the Astros this season. Might be a September call-up, but still. Him moving to 3B Friday is huge.

Astros could end up debuting three former SEC players this year in him, Tony Kemp (Vandy, already called up and might debut Tuesday), and AJ Reed (Kentucky)

Last night I listened to an Astros commentator talk about the status of the team, and the potential trades and minor-league call ups they could make this season. He mentioned Bregman along with two other guys who could potentially be called up. He specifically mentioned Bregman as getting a look at third base given Valbuena's struggles at the plate. That would be great for him.

Colin Moran, 3rd base for the Astros Triple A team in Fresno, just got called up to the Astros.

Chandler Rome just tweeted a link speculating Bregman will now be called up to Fresno to replace Moran.

Tony Kemp was also just called up to replace Preston Tucker on the 25 man.

If Moran sticks at 3rd and Kemp is serviceable as a utility guy, not sure what that means for Bregman this season. If he keeps hitting at this rate, he will be hard to keep off the MLB roster.

It means Moran will be apart of a trade for a center fielder.
