Moore or Chinea? Barash thinks that's funny.

Ibarra has gained about 20 pounds since we signed him as a SS. I wonder if he still has the range needed to play it, but he definitely has the hands.

Lol really? Chinea has been pretty good coming off the bench. I would think he would be in line for the staring position

His fielding style at SS is certainly unorthodox when the ball is hit straight at him.

You mean playing the ball to the side instead of in front... Unorthodox is being polite.

Nola blows away Bregman in fielding. Not even in the same league. The opposite is true at the plate.

Unlike Nola, SS is not Bregman's future.

Agreed. Alex Bregman could be a Buster Posey type. The kid is versatile.

Well to be fair, he was freshman of the year bc of his bat. His fielding was pretty good but a guy like Bregman could play any position on the field and probably be good at it.

Nola fielded .960 as a freshman. Bregman is at .938. Not even close.

My smoking crack has nothing to do with facts.

yep. get in front of the ball. knock it down. don't let it get by you. difference between a 1 base error and a 2 base error.

He would have to practice tirelessly on catching balls in the dirt.
