The play-calling was very suited to Randle El. It was run heavy in the Big Ten, and Antwan was a very rare talent, and without a Leslie Miles mandating things, Cam adjusted, so your point is valid.

Scott is a brilliant young man and has great work ethic to study and perform.

His ACT was in the low 20's. Hardly brilliant. But he seems to be bright. Much more important is being able to think under pressure. Terry Bradshaw was notoriously not-bright, but he could make quick decisions.

Cancer would NOT have slowed down the ballers on this site.

RE (Lindsey Scott): ACT was 25 (would call that mid not low 20s). You're an idiot if you believe that the ACT is a true marker of "brilliance". In the context of this board, "brilliance" implies FOOTBALL IQ. Every coach whose "examined" this kid has raved about his football intelligence. Coupled with his work ethic, film room, this kids has cerebral football abilities that are rare.

why? I would think the development these kids receive in high school is coming more from qb camps than the coaches they have in high school.

A lot of discussion about QB developed. QBs need to be groomed from birth. They need to show up on college campus "ready" to take snaps. A strong understanding of QB concepts needs to be taught from childhood. IMO

If he stays, I think he's going to do wonders with McMillan and Scott. Scott is going to make Cam look like a genius, IMHO.

So, in other words, stop recruiting spread QBs to play in a pro-style system?

You do realize that Brennan is 100% spread?

I think the truth is closer to this: Cam Cameron has done a pathetic job at recruiting the type of QB who can best grasp and execute his scheme. See the recent Advocate article on the QB Quandary at LSU under Miles/Cam. Brennan may break this cycle, if Miles/Cam survive long enough to coach him.

What do you mean? Both of our 2017 commits are spread QBs? What type of QBs do you mean?

Pretty sure that's why he played wr at the next level.

Still put up ridiculous stats.

He developed Joe Flacco. are qbs developed in the nfl?

this can't be a serious question.

Let's play, if qb's are already developed at the n.f.l. level, please explain Jamarcus R., Ryan Leaf, Geof George, Akili smith, Vince Young, tim tebow, Johnny football, amoung a 100 other first round picks that were bust?

If I recall correctly, Drew breese was being considered a bust. That is why San Diego drafted rivers. however, cam, I know impossible, developed Breese into a pro-bowl qb. Not only did he develop breese into a pro-bowl qb, his offense led the n.f.l. in total yards and points. (it's why he was hired as h.c. at Miami)

however, because he's at lsu. Now our ignorant fans believe he doesn't know offense or how to develop a qb no matter the mountain of evidence out there.

George Whitfield gets paid tons of money to work with qb's. Care to guess who mentored George? That's right, dumbass Cam.

People are forgetting about Randal El as well as Elvis Grbac.

So, all those qb's were just some how developed before cam? however, none of them had major success at their respective level's of competition until they had Cam. I'm sure it's just coincidence.

Look, I'm no pumper. However, there is way to much history and evidence to support Cam as a very good O.C. and qb coach. LSU's troubles aren't a result of Cam but rather the head man. The evidence supports lsu having offensive issues long before Cam. But let's not let facts get in the way.
