Breeding Mike?

What would be the possibility of breeding Mike VI and then when the time comes his cub can be Mike VII?
I'm no vet and so I don't know what the barriers (financial, geographical, female Bengal tiger availability) but I have to think that our vet school could get this done if they had a mind to.
We all love Mike. What could be better than beginning a legacy?

Zoos are having a hard enough time breeding tigers in captivity so I doubt we'd ever consider it.

They search for tigers that have a proven history of being user friendly and stable. You don't get that with a random cub.

Mike VI is a hybrid. Even if he were able to breed, it would not be allowed.

Mike would kill any tiger that was put in his cage, regardless of sex. We're not dealing with a puppy dog
