I did hear that there were some attitude issues with Victor in the offseason but nothing worth booting him for.

I was fine with the Jones hire when it happened, now it looks like it was a huge mistake. I've been curious about the Victor dismissal but haven't seen anything explaining the decision.

Earlier this season, there seemed to be a little progress with the team and some hopes for this season. Over the past couple of weeks, that hope has vanished. I'm skeptical that the team would be intentionally rebelling although sometimes there are things within a program (i.e. lack of confidence in a coach) that can play a factor whether it's intentional or not.

I don't think I've ever seen a HC with less emotion than Jones. If the coach isn't showing any emotion, why should anyone expect the players to do so? If the team is playing well...show some fire. Get excited. Encourage them to keep driving. Conversely, if they are playing poorly with no energy, get angry. Show your team that kind of play is not acceptable.

completely agree, and this is the thing that bothers me the most. Show some emotion!! No need to be a lunatic on the sidelines but, damn, show SOMETHING.

Players feed off of their coach. Show that you care and that you demand a certain level of effort and intensity from your players, and you'll get it.

Jones' bland, passive approach isn't working.

Really? You hate him?

Isn't that a little strong for a guy you probably don't even know. This is the problem with modern day fandom in sports and politics. People feel anything that happens contrary to their desires must be a personal affront to them.

Seems like they have given up.

It couldn't be more obvious from watching them play. And can you really blame them? I guess it's their fault for signing on with CJJ in the first place, but jesus. I can't imagine laying my self on the line for a coach that is this inept.
