Cut him some slack.

When you make claims that stats completely prove to be false and then stick to it, yes. You keep trying to move the goal posts.

Yes I'm sticking to it because it's not false. You'd have to be an idiot to think that stats like this matter when you lose! You're missing the point! If you can't keep the ball and score when you need to and you lose then stats are irrelevant. Think, don't be a dunce!

That's about right. People forget that Perrillloux bailed Flynn's arse out when he was too "hurt" to play in the '07 SECCG. Not to mention the wrinkles he provided throughout that season.

Correction. Every LSU fan remembers RP for his contribution that year.

However, the majority just blow him off as an absurd waste of talent, all due to his own actions.

He didn't have 'the chest' Miles and LSU were looking for.

Which is why he led the BCS and SEC in passing efficiency while only throwing 8 interceptions

Those type stats get you picked first in the NFL draft.

But, did he do what Flynn did, win LSU a natty?

I knew he was gonna go bust in the NFL because of the work ethic he showed at LSU

He had a great work ethic at LSU according to the people who actually coached

quote:

I never knew that guy,” Fisher said on ESPN 760, talking about the lazy player Russell has become.  “His work ethic for us — everything I ever asked him to do, he did.  He was smart, he carried three and four play packages at the line of scrimmage.”

“He is very talented and he is very intelligent,” Fisher said.  “Intelligence isn’t an issue with him.”

Saban chose JR over Matt
Jimbo chose JR over Matt
Miles chose JR over Matt

Those 3 don't know anything about football though

it's pretty obvious in interviews. My aunt used to be his teacher at parkway

Did she teach Jennings at Marietta HS? No. I think Harris is the guy but I'm not making asinine comments about the intelligence of an individual I've never met.

Flynn played poorly in a loss to Kentucky, jmarc played poorly in a loss to UF. Winning a championship means nothing imo comparing recent qbs. JJ won an sec title, Mett didn't, so JJ is the better qb. Flynn and jmarc both lost in the only seccg they played in.

Using that logic, 2006 and 2007 teams both lost two games, yet Russell's stats were better.

You can't deny that. That is a fact.

One INT hit a receiver in the hands. The center fumbled the snap at the one yard line and doucet fumbled a kickoff return.

Jamarcus wasn't as bad as you remember

Lee kneeled the ball at the end of the game. But I know what you're talking about. Lee was the starting qb for 8 games in 2011

The refs screwed LSU at auburn. Jamarcus was 20-35 for 250 yards.

Lsu also had no running game and your boy hester fumbled a perfect thrown pass from JR

and lit it up.

although JJ helped us win that Bama game, his play, even during that game, was atrocious.

Every game was worse, and it culminated with the MNC where he was worse than awful.

JJ had a good game versus Arkansas in 2011 but stunk it up against Georgia. Most intelligent fans saw the writing on the wall when it came to JJ. The 41 points put up against Georgia was defense special teams and the running game.
