Yeah! You read it on the Rant. That makes it fact.

This is not the only place I've heard it. Even was told from others that have direct contact with players that have said some things about his work ethic, or lack thereof.

All true freshman with significant playing time. Not because they are better than Harris but because they fit into their respective offensive schemes. Those are dual threat guys in spread offenses who are allowed to use their legs & arms. I think Harris skill set would benefit him well in an offense like Clemson or Florida. Sad to say but I think those guys would be on the bench here as well. Clearly they have the talent but none of those guys have had to transition to a prostyle offense. Granted the offense is very vanilla it's still a difficult transition. Talent is not the question. I believe the guy can play.

if you believe then OCs should take note

I listed 5 guys that were just as highly regarded as Harris as dual threat QBs. I think Harris is in the same situation as Jerrod Heard @ UT. The fan base is calling for the kid. He is more talented than the starter but there is a dynamic in which we don't see that doesn't allow them on the field. Swoopes was pretty horrible as well.

No sir. I have nothing to offer the OC. I'm a poor little high school OC. I'm sure he could teach me a thing or two.

Nope. Harris doesn't know the offense, and doesn't care to work and study to know it.

harris knows the offense. why would they start him against auburn if he didn't?

Because according to one poster, Les set him up to fail on purpose to teach him a lesson

Wouldn't you say Brandon Harris as a better skill set than Treon Harris and more equivalent to Barrett. I just think if BH would have been given a "real" shot that this season might be a little different

Harris has way more raw talent than Barrett. He's actually like a mix between Mariota and Winston. Has the arm strength of Winston (actually has more) and the legs of Mariota. The question is, does he have the accuracy. He'll know the playbook by next Fall so that will not be an excuse anymore for Miles or Cameron. If he can make good decisions and be accurate, he will kill it.

This is the thing. People keep saying what if Jennings was at Ohio st, woukd he be successful.. Well if JT Barrett was at LSU he would still be sitting behind Jennings.

Now you are just being fricking retarded. If Barrett was here, he would be in the same class as Jennings. If Barrett did what he did to earn the start at OSU, he would have earned it here too.

These conspiracy theories about Miles starting Jennings this year because he only wants to play Jennings and nobody else, are extremely insane. I mean you guys sound like idiots.

Jennings lit up MSU too.

he had a 13.0 QBR against them. it was 34-10 with him in the game
the TD was a defensive TD too

if les is throwing games to teach a QB "a lesson" he needs to be fired.

So if while "taking his lumps" we lost, say, 6 games- fans would be okay with that? They'd call Les an idiot and scream for AJ to be brought back to salvage the season just like they did in 08 when they screamed for JJ while Lee was taking his lumps.

It's fun to say until a kid implodes before your eyes. If LSU fans have proven anything it's that they'll turn on anyone who lets them down.

Dann right. It'd be worse now and they'd kill him for starting a true freshman
