Looks like a leader out there. I believe maturity will be the biggest difference for him when comparing last season to the upcoming season.

Christian LaCouture, Jamal Adams, Jalen Mills, and Fournette were also there mentoring. This team is full of leaders.

I can nearly assure you Jennings did the SAME thing last year.

The old saying "What have you done for me lately"?

Agreed. The kid normally does a great job as a speaker. The playbook has been the challenge. Hopefully, the riddle has been solved.

Have to show me on the field before I believe that.

Being a leader of a team is about more than learning the playbook. He needs to be able to inspire guys with his play and his voice. He needs to have everyone's back. He needs to be tough and positive. I sure hope he knows the playbook, because I think he has a lot of natural gifts. That's just where being a leader for this team begins.

I love this kid. I'm always excited for LSU football but for some reason this season seems like it's going to be special.

By all accounts, he's always had a lot to say.

You mean that positively? Not busting balls. Genuinely curious.

Yes and no. I like what he says in interviews and he sounds mature, like he gets it. Then I'll see some of the stuff that he posts on social media that is an obvious attempt to garner attention. I think he likes to hear people tell him that he should be starting and I don't necessarily see that as positive.

I hear you, atxfan.

I had the chance to meet him last season, and he's got a legit big-time personality — genuine, good sense of humor. But those traits don't necessarily shine through on social media.

Leave that shite with the rest of nonsense from last year's QB shite-show. Turn the page to 2015. Harris has been doing everything right including keeping the shite off of social media.

What does that have to do with anything? He is talking about Harris and how he thinks his maturity will be greatly improved from last year. Jennings has nothing to do with it

Why is it so hard for you to believe he can learn the playbook?

I don't know the guy personally. I'm just being honest about what I've seen from a distance. Definitely looking forward to the new season and seeing the results of the offseason work.
